Howdy!
 

This year I'm racing to benefit the JO Chifundo School in KalingLinga, Zambia. Through Globe Outreach we are sponsoring the building and support of this secondary school as a way to help the poorest in the capital city of Lusaka and more importantly as a way to support the Gospel message to the community in Zambia.

 
My life race is to Know Christ and I will be returning to Zambia to help with the school and local churches immediately after IM Lou as part of my effort to know Him. It will be fantastic to go there with God's word and the financial resources to support those efforts.
 

I am going to train and race this year with I Corinthians 9:24-27 in my heart:
 

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."
