Dr Yam has been such a blessing during this whole knee thing.  Not only is he "the best" on knees, medically speaking, but it was truly a blessing to have him lead my wife and I in a pre-op prayer before surgery.  This has been his routine for the many, many years that he's been helping mend peoples bodies...he's also been ministering to their souls through his unashamed expressions of faith.  His genuine and humble bed-side manor speaks more than his words every could, but he doesn't use that as an excuse not to use his words also.  I was also amazed that he gave me a call at home every evening from the day of my surgery until the day before our one-week follow-up visit.  Not his assistant...he personally called to check on me, remind me of the important things, and see if Jen or I had any questions.  He faithfully checked in with us even on the weekend nights.
 
In so many ways, the world needs a million more Dr Yams!!!
