About the North Dallas Area Group
The North Dallas Area Group is just getting underway. We are excited to provide a group for those in the Allen, Frisco, Plano, McKinney area that may be a little closer to home. Since we are just beginning, feel free to contact the group leader with suggestions or to let him know how you can help.
This group is for athletes of all performance levels.
Group Leader
Rob Phillips will be the group leader for the North Dallas Area Group. Rob will send broadcast email messages to group members periodically, so please be sure to join and subscribe to the group.
Group Training Schedule
TBD and announced soon. If you are interested in joining this group for group training, please contact Rob.
Currently there are morning rides leaving Allen Natatorium @ 7:00 a.m, M, W, and F. Sat morning rides begin at 121 and Custer (CK Sports), with a variety of paces and distances.
The Allen Natatorium also offers a fantastic Master Swim program at a reasonable price. Swimming takes place at 5:30 am, or 11:30 am.
Mid August, once we have some traction, a meeting will be held in which we will be able to determine a course of action, and which projects we may wish to undertake.
Local Sponsors
TBD
2010 Event Calendar
Since the North Dallas Area Group is just beginning, our event calendar for the remainder of the 2010 season may consist of what joining members are already doing. We may also coordinate with the other local groups in our area. Please check back for more details to come.
Volunteer and Service Projects
Mid August, once we have some traction, a meeting will be held in which we will be able to determine a course of action, and which projects we may wish to undertake.
As we are told in Mathew 4:19, "Come and follow me, Jesus said, and I will make yu fishers of men", arm yourselves with the word, and in turn, you will reach those who have yet to experience the love of Christ. Tri4Him is a great vehicle in which the common enjoyment of a physical pursuit provides the framework for an initial conversation.
